Reentry Life Skills Curriculum
“Taking Care of Yourself: Making the Transition from Corrections to Work, Education and Daily Life” is a free, reproducible, 18-unit curriculum developed by Leon County School’s Adult & Community Education through a grant from the Florida Department of Education. The curriculum provides a wide variety of lessons and activities designed to facilitate successful transition to reentry. The lessons in this curriculum are designed to foster skills relevant to the new GED while addressing the work readiness, education and life skills needs of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated adults. Most lessons are also highly relevant to students in ABE, GED and ESOL classrooms.
