Partner Organizations

Joseph House is a home and community for men released from prison. We are a nonprofit ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee. We offer a wide range of services for our brothers coming out of prison as we accompany them in their reintegration back into free society and their complete restoration into our communities.

The Tallahassee Bail Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to pay bail for those who cannot afford it in Leon County, FL, and provides post-release support services through the pre-trial period to those assisted. Helping people pay bail reduces the impact of pre-trial detention by minimizing trauma and reducing the likelihood of job loss, housing instability, health issues, and separation of families.  

Big Bend AHEC provides health education and promotes partnerships to improve community health, focusing on underserved, rural, and minority populations.  Our highlighted programs include health insurance navigators who provide unbiased education, outreach, and enrollment services to individuals seeking to enroll in health care coverage in the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace.  Our tobacco cessation program will help individuals with an addiction to tobacco products.

The Innocence Project of Florida (IPF) is an IRS-certified 501(c)(3), non-profit organization founded in January 2003 to help innocent prisoners in Florida obtain their freedom and rebuild their lives. Our mission is to:

  • Screen and investigate cases in which meritorious innocence claims are identified;
  • Secure DNA testing when biological evidence exists;
  • Advocate for the release and/or exoneration of individuals whose cases present meritorious innocence claims based on evidence of actual innocence;
  • Provide transitional and aftercare services to exonerees; and
  • Advocate for necessary criminal justice reform to avoid wrongful incarcerations in the future.

Scrambled Egg Ministries is a beacon of hope, dedicated to guiding lost souls towards redemption and purpose. Founded on the principles of love, compassion, and faith, our ministry is committed to reaching out to those living in darkness, offering them support, guidance, and the transformative power of Jesus Christ. With a team of passionate individuals driven by a shared mission to make a difference, we strive to create a community where everyone is welcomed, valued, and given the opportunity to discover their true identity in Christ.

STAC provides comprehensive services assistance for survivors of labor and sex trafficking. STAC collaborates with other advocates, service providers, law enforcement and prosecutors so that survivors can receive the assistance they need to survive and thrive and works closely with those who assist specific populations – minors, adult women who are sex trafficked, immigrants. STAC partners with local agencies to provide wrap-around services for survivors of human trafficking regardless of age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religious (non)affiliation, and immigration status; services are victim-centered and trauma-informed. Provides emergency support, care management, and needed services such as emergency shelter, care management, mental and physical health care, legal services, educational resources, and job assistance.

The mission of Connection First is to cultivate peace and healing through human connection. They do this with restorative practices and nonviolent communication. Restorative Justice (RJ) is a voluntary process that promotes healing and accountability through facilitated conversations. Connection First facilitates free RJ conferences for incidents that occurred in Leon County.
